Christmas

December 22, 2007

I don’t celebrate Christmas. I don’t have a tree with a star on top or a time to go Christmas shopping. Sure it seems depressing being that I am an red blooded American, and I do envy my friend’s who get to enjoy Christmas mornings and dinners. It’s funny really!

Why do I care? Am I missing out? Yes. It’s simple and plain that I would love for a traditional Christmas.

My Christmases are filled up with normal daily activities. Once I start working, I might even work on Christmas which is okay with me.

I guess I never really LOVED Christmas. Maybe to the extent that materialism matters in this holiday, since who doesn’t love toys and non-sense?

I just wish Santa ate my goddamn cookies.
